Some ideas for future options that come to me after seeing the new options for dice modification.
1) Reading Adversary talent. Could work just like reading the Defense I suppose? Would be a cool addition.
2) Something far more complex I imagine. Similar system for Social Challanges where targeting a character during an encounter with a Social skill automatically reads that targets opposing skill. Though with how skills operate I imagine that might require quite a bit of setup.
You can kinda emulate this by creating the Adversary talent and adding an effect on it that upgrades the difficulty of any check they are the target of. The only problem is that this will only apply once since dice pool modifications do not take into account ranks. You can go to the copied effect on the adversary and edit that to include the proper number of upgrades though. Alternatively, you could create multiple Adversary talents with the effect adjusted as needed. I know it's not ideal but hopefully this helps in the meantime.
I've though about this and no solution convinces me as of yet, but I hope to implement something similar at some point in the future.
First of all. To our dear system maker.
Me and all my players love your work.
