Is it possible to make this work with Zip files or windows folders? #17

As far as I can tell the program only works with images which is cool and all but my personal main wants would actually be preloading of zip thumbnails and folder which have custom icons.

Unless I'm missing something the app doesn't enable this? Is it at all possible in the future?

I don't think I've ever seen archives with thumbnails anywhere, and you are correct, neither does this tool generate them. Can you give an example of a tool that does that?

Though it doesn't mention it on the description Icaros does exactly this. Generating thumbs for zips just as you would expect when added to it's list of files it should thumbnail.

I'd suggest replacing it's default list with my list..

It's actually possible to keep almost all your media in zips and playable with nice thumbnails using this. (MPV can play video files from within zips and CDisplayEx can read comics from within zips)

Very interesting, indeed it would be cool if winthumbs would be able to leverage it for thumb generation.
