Can't coin up #11

Games for this core all load up and play their attract mode perfectly but button assignments don't seem to work as coin does nothing no matter which button I assign it to.

By default coin is Right Trigger button on SNES style gamepad. But of course you can assign it as you like. I've just checked the Galaxian game and Coin button works fine.

Strange. I'm having the same issue for the games under the pacman core as well. My SNES style controller works fine in all the other cores other than pacman and galaxian cores.

it means you are doing some common mistake.

I also notice the reset option in the core menu doesn't work in either core. Could it be from using wrong version of ROMs?

Some of the games are freezing on boot or entering boot loops as well it seems.

try deleting the prefs in config
