Would also love to see that feature implemented. Was dying to play Ultima IV on the core, but it only appears in Black and White.
Are you talking about NTSC/PAL artificial colors through pixel color alternating?
Yes, NTSC/PAL Artifacting (artificial colors through pixel color alternating)
These images (the second with NTSC Artifacting turned on) were taken from running UltimaIV on Altirra64 (Atari Emulator)
As you can see it makes all the difference.
AutoDuel utilizes it as well.

i've added basic implementation
Is that implementation in the Atari800_20230227.rbf file? I have that one on my MiSTer and UltimaIV still shows up in black/white
it should be in unstable build.
you can try this build: Atari800.zip

you can try this build: Atari800.zip Its Perfect!!!
I have only tested mrdo but the stable build doesn't seem to work as no difference if off or on.
Edit: I have tried ultima iv and that works, mrdo however doesn't work
just posting to see if this is still something that may get fixed (color artifact in mr do)
A number of games make use of half color-cycle color artifacting for color effects, eg. Protector, various Ultima titles, etc... is there any chance there'll be support for artifacting in the core?
