the SGM adds 32K RAM and an AY-3-8910 sound chip to the Colecovision. As the ADAM already has 32K of RAM , all the ADAM needs to mimic the SGM is the AY-3-8910 chip.
Standard carts can have up to 32kb (4x8Kb banks). but there are some carts with internal paging system. Carts now are loaded in SDRAM and the system detect the extra banks and paging.
