Real Time Clock doesn't work for English patched N64 Animal Crossing

Real Time Clock doesn't work for English patched N64 Animal Crossing. When you start the game from the main menu you'll get a message saying something is wrong with the internal clock of your N64, then you have to manually enter the time & date. You need to do that every time you reboot the game.
