It's really hard to play Samurai Shodown 2 without this in 2024.

I have more ultimate solution for those (including myself) who getting older and can't play games as they are supposed to be played: use cheats :) There are many more combinations of ABCD buttons than A+B and C+D.

Are you saying that if I enable cheats I can bind those inputs?

Not exactly that. Cheats may provide something like infinite power or invincibility. Good gamepad may also help with easier simultaneous button press.
