International Superstar Soccer Pro (SLES 00559) Commentary Samples Cutting off (More of them do Compared to Real Hardware) #254

I am aware that even on Real Hardware, some of the commentary samples (which is awfully done) do cut off short, but more of the samples cut off even more so in the latest Unstable Version of the Core when compared to Real Hardware.

"That player's gonna have to clean up his act if he wants to avoid the Ref" which is said sometimes after a Foul is committed is played without cutting off on Real Hardware, however on the Core the Sample cuts before Ref is said.

I am guessing it could be CD Timing related?

Latest MiSTer Main Unstable Latest Unstable Core Version BIOS : Doesn't matter which version of the BIOS used.

If it also happens on real hardware with other samples, it's probably on the edge already.

I dont know what method they used to time the comments, but it could be related to e.g. seek times. It's probably hard to find out. Best would be a savestate where such a comment will start 2-3 second later, but is not already.

However, as it's relativly minor, i will likely not spend time on it currently, sorry.
