Virtua Racing Deluxe (JP version) graphically crashes in Acropolis' attract mode #34

It always crashes in this same spot during the attract mode (and it only occurs with the JP version of the game, I tested the US version too). The sound keeps working and if you push the buttons, the logic of the game seems to be still running but it remains graphically crashed.

Note: I prefer to use the Japanese version of VRD 'cause, unlike the US release, it has SRAM saves for the rank tables/best times. Some of its samples, default best times, and menu graphics are also different from the US release.

Turns out I was still running the April 25th core instead of the latest version. It's working fine with the most recent core.
