From a Youtube video of Video Game Esoterica.

There is a weird issue with the sound test on Dark Savior. On a real Saturn, when you play a song, piano keys appear on the screen. They are pressed to the beat of the song. However, the piano keys do not appear when you play a song on the sound test on MiSTer. Actually, every single emulator suffers from this issue as well.

I see a problem with text transparency in the core, but I don't see any piano on real hardware. 1730388144709

Ok. You need to apply the cheat (press X, Y, Z) to display the piano. The piano is displayed, but it is also semi-transparent like the text.
