Saturn Multi-disc not working (ex. Deep Fear)

Hello By no means am I stressing the issue here, I know that Srg320 is struggling over there and my prayers go to him. I thought I'd write it here (it was suggested), to point out, time-permitting for the future, to please perhaps integrate Multi-Disc playability. I understand it only works for one specific game (i think Panzer Dragoon Saga), but that is mainly due to some coincidence in how the saves of that game work to begin with. I also kindly not just ask, but beg for people that keep telling that it does work (by explaining rom folder set-ups etc but obviously never showing evidence that it works, because it doesn't), to stop giving out false information. I want to be clear, multi-disc Saturn games as of this moment (with one known exception so far, Panzer Dragoon Saga), that have multi-disc, do NOT WORK when one is prompted to change Discs. It would be awesome to have something similar like the CD lid options on the PSX in the MiSTer.

In any case, I wish Srg320 the very best, thank him immensely for what he is doing to preserve gaming history in this yet amazing Saturn core! Stay save, and thank you so much.

While hot swapping discs work, it seems the core is missing something (a "lid has been open and is closed again" sort of switch?) to make games check again the cd status when prompting to change a disc. On the real console,during that process, the game would stop the CD spinning, before the user had to open the console's lid.

I keep hearing it is possible, as of this moment, to play multi-disc Saturn (well, Disc 2 onward), but yet, nobody ever in detail explained the exact procedures, nor did anyone ever provide any proof in forms of a video on YT (for instance Deep Fear, I can provide a save file shortly before CD2).

I would like to ask for someone to demonstrate this "hot swapping" procedure, please, in forms of a video and upload it? This would be extremely appreciated! Otherwise, I'd like to ask to not provide information such as it is working, since it is through normal means indeed NOT WORKING (I begged for this in my main post).

So, next person answering that it works, hot swapping or by any form of witchcraft, please, just upload a video detailing the exact procedure on several games. It would be hugely appreciated by the whole casual-player community and we would be deeply thankful.

Try with the latest official Main release. Do the following: -delete the old savefile and create a new one or -rename the old save file by deleting " (Disc 1)" part (ex. Deep Fear (USA) (Unl).sav, Deep Fear (Japan).sav).
