try this: ZXNext.zip
This one worked! Thanks!
I've had to re-download the boot.vhd file as my previous one seemed to be corrupted by the 0404 release.
Delta's shadow is working on this test release, however, it's working only in 3.5Mhz mode (in previous versions it seemed to work fine up to 28Mhz).
It's not working for me. 04/04 release wasn't saving videomode, but this one just shows a black screen after the video selection screen. Previous releases were working fine.
@vanfanel did you restore your SD/VHD? My VHD got corrupted by yesterday's release and I had to re-download it.
i found some more issue in VHD access. I need some time to re-work it.

Yes I did.
@sorgelig Ok, I will keep testing new builds.
also make sure you've update Main!
@sorgelig Yes, sir. I always do! (Except when I waste your time because I forgot to, but this time I did update Main).
Try this version: ZXNext_2.zip Make sure you've restored VHD to version prior 0404 release as write could damage the data unfortunately.
Delta's Shadow still not working with any speed above 3.5Mhz. Other than that, this version seems to be working fine.
@sorgelig After re-copying the VHD and updating, this works again. Aaaand Poogie is now working fine, it's not stuck on music loop anymore! great! :D
I've tried demo version of Delta Shadow - it seems working up to 28MHz
Strange! Maybe I'm using some conflicting setting or something?
Tried the demo as well and I've got the same issue when running retail version above 3.5Mhz:
@sorgelig you tried running the game from SD or VHD? I'm always using VHD.
VHD
try to start game at 3.5MHz then switch to 28MHz. When you switch to higher than 3.5MHz in Main menu then to to start almost any game then you will get this crash. I have no idea what's wrong. May be there is something in Next code itself. MiSTer uses latest code from Next repository which is much newer than official Next core.
Yes, loading the game at 3.5Mhz and then pressing F8 to change speed works fine. Thanks for the tip!
Is it too difficult to add an OSD or any visual indication on what clock speed we are currently?
Thanks, Sorg!
Just tried old boot.vhd with older firmware. guess what? It loads game fine on 28MHz. So, it's Next firmware/OS bug. Need to ask Next team if they have up to date firmware without this bug. Their firmware/core/os compatibility is a nightmare... Unfortunately they aren't on github. They use gitlab where i'm not present (and have no intention to).
i will add display of current speed
Thanks for being awesome!!!
New release
Running to my nearest MiSTer to test! :dancing_men:
Core release: 20210404 Using latest VHD
Basically I'm getting wrong file listinsg from VHD directories. That makes loading games impossible. Sometimes when game directory listing is correct, game crashes with garbled graphics (Delta's Shadow).
