Could you create a folder color similar to the 'Yaru' one from Ubuntu?

You can install with $ ./install.sh -t yaru

Cannot replicate it, is the referred to "links/mimes" folder present in the source?

worst case you can copy my files from gnome-look.org and paste them directly in your icons folder.
