headphone does not always get recognized, volume is too low, built in audiofx app doesnt work #3

i believe there is an issue with headphones recognition and volume. when i plug it in, the phone doesnt recognize the headphones and it needs to be rebooted several times with headphones plugged in until its recognized. when its recognized volume is way too low even on all levels maxed out. i wanted to use an app like speaker boost but it wont start and keeps haning in a loading loop. other volume apps load but they dont have an effect on the volume. further the built in audiofx doenst work too and has no effect when its settings are modified.

You can change the volume with SmartPack Kernel Manager, Exynos4 Kernel Manager (Paid) or with an init.d script (example). I was only going to use the builds for myself initially so I set the default volume to my own preference. I reverted the change so the default volume will be louder in the next build.

The phone recognises headphones fine on my device. Might be a hardware issue. Give the port a clean with some compressed air.

The built-in audiofx works fine on build lineage-14.1-20230603-UNOFFICIAL-i9300-microg, what build are you using?
