Moving the project from private to public will make it easy to share with friends.

With your written approval on this thread, I will move the project to public.

Is there a way to give view access to specific people (or publicly) without allowing them to edit/commit/pull request? (This is partially coming from the big brother in me who always had things ruined by toddlers gaining access to them, and partially from knowing I'm very inexperienced and uncommitted and it wouldn't take much to crowd me out if anybody can contribute to the project lol)

For anyone reading this in the future when this HAS been made public -- to be clear I am all about opening things up to contributions from anyone who has the skill and desire to contribute. It's just that right now this is my little safe space where I can be slow and dumb and it's okay because there is zero pressure on the project and there's literally only two people here, the pond doesn't get any smaller. Idk how big the Venn diagram overlap is for someone who is experienced, wants to build these games, and has knowledge of/access to the repository, but it only takes one of those to potentially make me irrelevant on this project and I want more time to decrease my slowness and dumbness with a safe practice space.

I guess I should say here that I approve of making the repo public, since you asked for that in writing
