WPML #680

Dear Sirs,

i am trying to set up a multilingual website (EN & ES) usinf the WPML pluginset
in combination with Geo Mashup.

The whole website works perfectly in the following situations:
1) WPML is active and Geo Mashup deactivated (this way i dont have the geo
locations / google Map for the posts)
2) WPML deactivated and Geo Mashup active (this way i only have the English
website but the geo maps etc work perfectly)

So what happens when bot plugins are activated: when i have stared a location
to a post, and add the geo map shortcode everything works fine. The map is
shown, the pin on the map is shown etc. When i switch to Spanish (and in my
translated post i also have added a location) everything works fine...

The problem starts when opening a post of page where the geo map shortcode has
been added and no location is stored. Normally when there is no location
stored, the shortcode will produce a map with all the geo locations used in all
posts and pages.

This works perfectly until WPML is activated... when activating WPML and
opening a page that contains the geo map shortcode and no location is stored to
the post or page... the output of the page completely freezes after the
page/post title...

Is this a known issue and are there any plans in solving this problem? I found
multiple topics on this forum, but all without a possible solution.

Best regards,
Herre Visser

This is the first report I've had of this. I think you've included most of the
important details.

Can you supply your WordPress, Geo Mashup, and WPML versions?

Also, if you have access to your PHP error logs, can you see if there is any
error logged when you get the blank page?

I dont't have access to my PHP error logs i'm afraid.

All themes, WP, plugins are up to date:
My current version of WP: 3.7.1
WPML Multilingual CSM: 3.0.1
Geo Mashup: 1.7.2

I tested it with different themes, all the same output.

At the same time i also asked the WPML developers if they were aware if this
issue... they told me that the Geo Mashup plugin isnt fully compatible with
WPML and that their compatibility theme will also try to contact you.

Hopefully this will work out into a compatible workaround for both plugins.
