From a forum thread:

Just a note to the developers or people that are having similar problems - it
seems WordPress's Jetpack plugin breaks Geo Mashup map.
All the points that were previously showing disappear, on either Google 3 or
Openlayers, and it shows the widest zoom when the plugin is activated - or more
accurately when you connect it to WordPress.com.
My theme Superhero needs it for the slider, so I tracked down what it is -
pretty sure it's the Infinite Load or the Google Analytics fix for that -
switched off the latter, it worked then broke again, and then switched off
Infinite Load and it seems fine now. We'll see - but certainly disabling
Jetpack fixes this immediately - but it would be good if they worked better
together, as I need the plugin for my theme (and it is a fairly widespread
official plugin, too).
I at first assumed it was a clash in competing Google code, so I took out
Google from the sharing options, took out pages from that, then disabled
sharing...didn't do anything. I don't have Analytics or G+ setup on that blog.
