... Since raspberry pi 3 wifi cant connect to a 5ghz network i use externel wifi adapter when using raspbian os for connecting to wifi and also act as bridge cum wifi repeater

Hi, many thanks for the request 👍

This also ties in with https://github.com/Fourdee/DietPi/issues/1542. We need to add additional options/overrides for both.
