Thanks, it makes the documented method as well: https://portal.portainer.io/knowledge/how-can-i-use-my-custom-certificate-authority-ca-with-portainer Generally I see no reason why to not trust the host CA certificates. Only downside: they might be a little older. However, Debian updates the package on demand on all supported Debian versions, so that should not be a problem either.
