Hi Michael. I would be interested in taking over the maintenance
@Michael-F-Bryan Hi Michael. I also can be one of maintainers along with @glottologist and probably other people. Let's move project further all together.
@blandger and @glottologist sure thing that'd be awesome.
Do you have anything in mind for this project, or use cases you'd like to see implemented? I have a bit of free time coming up so could probably help mentor.
There are things goes into my mind first.
review PRs for upgrading dependencies, check changes and see if they are feasible and suitable
The main problem I can see is that project/code doesn't do it main functional ability to create epub from current rust-book MD sources. So it would be good to repair the main functionality first (Make sure this tool can be used to consistently render The Rust Programming Language). As I can see processing resources to be included doesn't work properly. Now the rust book has a different links like: {{#include ../listings/ch02-guessing-game-tutorial/no-listing-01-cargo-new/output.txt}}
Later we can start work on next bugs and later on features.
The seems like a sound plan. I definitely think getting the core functionality working should be the main first focus.
That sounds like a good plan. I've added the two of you as collaborators so you should be able to make changes as you see fit.
Thank you for keeping the project move on.
Do you still need a maintainer? I would like to offer my candidacy.
I haven't needed to generate EPUBs for ages, so haven't had a real incentive to continue developing it or resolve open issues/PRs. If you use this tool or would like to see it improved, let me know and we can sort something out.
Some points for future work:
--standalone
flag will go through the normalmdbook
