python-tools was unable to find your machine's python executable. #292

Hi, I'm a newby of MacOs and Atom. I've installed Atom to start programming python. I've always had a windows machine but since I bought an used MacPro last week I encounter this error after installing Python-tools. I Also have the same error using Ubuntu on the same machine in another partition.

Please teach me how to make things working properly on both MacOs and Ubuntu. Thanks in advance for any given aid. Paolo

Note this comment, showing the differences in the environment picked up by Atom depending on how it is launched under MacOS.
