Now that we have a wiki with pages for each quest/objective (eventually) I think I'm going to overhaul the casual guide sometime after v4. The wiki will now provide the completely non-linear and comprehensive failure points per objective that the original casual guide did, and I think ultimately that method is actually not even that approachable for a truly casual player anyway since they'd have to parse out all of the logic issues on the fly.
My goal for the new casual guide is going to be more of an extremely low risk and glitch-optional recommended sequence of objectives that keeps most questlines in their natural order and whatnot, sort of like a v2 tier level of complexity but with the v3 system of getting merchants and smaller stuff along the way, with only essential failure points highlighted for the player rather than all possible ones.
I think I'm going to unmark the v4-critical label for this one since there are actually quite a few considerations that would go into creating this updated casual guide structure (including another full html guide conversion), and although it would be nice to have it all ready by v4, I think we have too much else to get done in other areas for the time being.
Do we want to just remove the 'casual' tab then for now? or have it link to the v3 guide?
We should leave the tab so people know a casual guide is coming soon, but just change the current content to be a short "coming soon" message of some kind instead of the partial guide content to avoid confusion.
Unlike speedrun route, which will change heavily for v4, the casual page probably won't change much, so adding content to it will "stick around" for longer.
