Updating FX Groups #2

It seems that when I activate or de-activate groups in the FX layouts, I have to restart the sequence for the update to be reflected in the output. I had this similar issue in my own showfile. Instead of assigning the world in the output filter of the sequence, I assigned the world in the phaser preset and it would pass the updates live while a sequence was playing.

I'll take a look at that. I personally don't have an issue with the way it currently functions. As near the end of a song I can start pre selecting my groups for next song and then bring phaser fader down and back up when needed for new song.

But will play with your solution and see how it goes.

Hi Michael. I can definitely see the benefit both ways. In your example, yes, you can prepare your groups ahead of time, bring the fader down and back up to see the change. In my brain, when I toggle a group selection on or off, I expect it to reflect instantly. It's really a matter of how, as an operator, you prefer to run your show. -Rob
