For the TechDebates, we are working on a closer integration of videos with certain debates (lethal autonomous robots; synthetic biology; brain-machine interfaces) with corresponding argument maps. Since these debates are linked from several web pages (ethics.gatech.edu; onlineethics.org, etc.) it would be good if the links to specific TechDebates would both open the Flash application and the corresponding category (e.g. "Lethal Autonomous robots" in Technology Assessment). On the opening page would be on the one side a screen shot from the video so that the video can be watched within the Flash application, and on the other side a list of argument maps on these robots.

Similarly, it should be possible to launch Flash directly to "Technology Assessment" (which should be renamed "TechDebates on Emerging Technologies") where the user would find on the one side screen shots from videos and on the other a concept map like the one on top of http://www.argumentations.com/Argumentations/Help/Tutorials/Tutorials.aspx. Click on any concept would lead to a page like the one described above.

For guidance to find argument maps: it could be done as here, http://www.economist.com/conversation-cloud. But when you click on a concept, the main conclusion of all the arguments that are tagged by its creator with this concept pop up. We need a tagging system.

A possible integration of the TechDebates video into Ziyo's design has been proposed by Ray, a designer at GLC with Sandy's help for the NEH Media production grant. I can send it.

Not necessary when the map administration is done in Html.
