contentmanager blocked on "Testing connection" #14

Hi, I'm using contentmanager on Ubuntu 20.04 LTS and actually the software is blocked on "testing connection...please wait", no matter which Remote URL I use.

Please, can you give me some suggestions on how to fix this or if there is any other alternative way for downloading the required packages? Also, let me know if you need additional info.
