TrustPlatform Design Suite broken on Mac OS Catalina 10.15.7 #6

Hello,

I asked for some help regarding the ECC608A cryptochip in this thread. https://github.com/MicrochipTech/cryptoauthlib/issues/196 and was suggested that I install the design suite and get started with it.

I tried doing that on my mac and ran into some troubles during the installation. The installer fails and I think it is because the trust_platform has a windows executable for anaconda, instead of the mac version.

I would appreciate any help in fixing the issue and being able to successfully install the design suite.

I am attaching the screenshots of the error and the conda.exe executable in the trust_platform folder.

Hello, Yes, the currently available MacOS installers are not correctly built and fail on Catalina OS. A new version of the installers will be available shortly. In the meantime, please consider using the Window platform version of the design suite.

Wow. That was fast. Thank you for the response. If I may ask, when is the ETA for the correct installers? I would really prefer not to go the windows way. If it is a matter of days, I would rather wait. :-) Most of our development is on mac / linux. Depending on windows is a incompatible departure from our workflow.

The issue got identified late Friday and we will be working on new installers this week. However, I can’t guarantee that it will be all resolved within the coming week.
