Confusing note about scheduling task sequence available & start times #777

Closed NeighborGeek closed 6 years ago

The note about scheduling task sequence available and start times seems to talk in circles. It's either wrong or else worded in a very confusing way.

"If you schedule a start time for a required task sequence that is earlier than the date and time when the task sequence is available, the Configuration Manager client downloads the task sequence at the scheduled start time, even though the task sequence is available at an earlier time. "

I think the end of that is supposed to say ". . . even though the task sequence is not scheduled to be available until a later time."

Thanks @NeighborGeek for the feedback. And good timing - I have some changes pending for this article (among others), and had missed that bit during my initial review. I fixed this with an internal update to this article that's currently in review. It should publish live by the end of this week. I'm closing this issue.
