Cannot access VMConnect session settings

This documentation does not represent reality in my current experience. VMConnect does not show a settings dialog before connecting, which implies to me that settings have been saved. But there is not any "Edit Session Settings..." button in Hyper-V manager, nor does the /edit option when running VMConnect show me a settings dialog. It just goes straight to the connection window.

This is WIndows 11 Pro host, Windows 11 Home guest.

Same. This is infuriating. I clicked "Save my settings for future connection to this virtual machine", and now it's impossible to change the settings via the UI. The /edit switch simply opens a connection window -- not the connection options dialog box.
