WAC takes over an hour to get to Cluster Dashboard with 700VMs #120

Open Jonfdxc opened 2 years ago

Gateway Version: 1.3.2111.01001 Extension Version

To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Go to 'Dashboard for a Cluster' in Microsoft edge
  2. Took over 1 hour to load
  3. Inventory of VMs and Volumes also extremely slow

Expected behavior Should not take over an hour to get to a Cluster Manager Dashboard on a 8 node cluster with 700 VMs. Is not workable. A two node cluster with 24 VMs take less than a minute to get to the cluster dashboard.

Screenshots & Additional context Target Cluster is 8 - Node Windows 2019 Cluster, 700VMs, each node has 56 Cores an 1TB Ram All Servers Domain Joined WAC Gateway Windows server 2019 on a VM (separate from 8 Node Cluster) also domain joined Edge Client on a separate VM on a separate Cluster

We will release an update to the SDDC extension soon. Once we do, please try it out and see if the performance increased.
