WinRM cannot complete operation #275

Open 8468460 opened 1 year ago

Gateway Version: 1.3.2204.19002 Extension Version that's been used if it applies

Was working fine. All of a sudden, now when trying to connect to a computer, after providing credentials, receive the messages below.

When clicking on a computer in inventory to connect to it: "Connecting to remote server failed with the following error message : WinRM cannot complete the operation. Verify that the specified computer name is valid, that the computer is accessible over the network, and that a firewall exception for the WinRM service is enabled and allows access from this computer. By default, the WinRM firewall exception for public profiles limits access to remote computers within the same local subnet."

When clicking on Manage as, then specifying user credentials to manage all connections:

"WinRM cannot complete the operation. Verify that the specified computer name is valid, that the computer is accessible over the network, and that a firewall exception for the WinRM service is enabled and allows access from this computer. By default, the WinRM firewall exception for public profiles limits access to remote computers within the same local subnet."

Have searched and tried any suggestions that I have been able to find but cannot get this resolved.

To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Go to 'Windows Admin Center > All Connections (optionally > Manage as)'
  2. Click on 'Any computer to connect to it or click Manage as to enter credentials'
  3. Scroll down to 'N/A error message appears after Step 2'
  4. See error

Expected behavior Access to a Windows domain computer to manage it. Screenshots & Additional context If applicable, add screenshots to help explain your problem. Add any other context about the problem here.

Hi @8468460,

Is this issue still occurring on our latest build?

Kind regards, Rebecca
