[WAC] - pop-out windows don't utilise all available real-estate #282

Open fr0mtheinternet opened 1 year ago

fr0mtheinternet commented 1 year ago

2211: 1.4.2212.08003

Not a bug, more an annoyance... especially for a remote desktop session where you want all available space

To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Click any 'pop-out' icon to open a function in a new window from the server/workstation/etc. For instance RDP.
  2. The html element for the feature being 'popped out' doesn't fill the window. The section container that would hold the navigation items in the main screen is still present, so empty space is being taken up.
  3. If you inspect the whitespace element, you can delete it and receieve full use use of the window.

Expected behavior The full window area being used.

Screenshots & Additional context

Empty space: empty-space

Element responsible: section-class

Hi @fr0mtheinternet,

Thanks for bringing this to our attention. I've raised this with the design team. In the meantime, let me switch this from a bug to an enhancement.

Kind regards, Rebecca.

+1 This would be a great enhancement, what about adding the possibility to make an RDP window Fullscreen?
