[WAC, Remote Desktop] - Wrong keyboard mapping is used

To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Go to Remote Desktop
2. open something like notepad, powershell, web browser etc
3. type characters like @ / \ and they come out as something else entirely

4. RDP via WAC is essentially useless as it is impossible to easily enter file paths or web addresses etc

Expected behavior If I use a UK keyboard on a server set to use UK as the default locale and use a UK keyboard I expect to see the right characters in the the same way that I do it I connect directly using RDP

is there any update on this? it is completely impossible to enter a file path in file explorer like \filename\folder name\ as the \ comes out as # Please remember the rest of the world does not use a US keyboard
