No architecture overview for TFS 2018 #9

Where is the architecture overview for TFS 2018? Also the Sharepoint integration is no longer available in TFS 2017, and it should be clearly mentioned. Therefore the architecture overview should be separated for TFS 2017/2018 and TFS 2013/2015.

Hi @eriawan , sorry for the delay. Hey @aaronhallberg , I'm going to throw an item up to work on this and will probably need your help. Let's aim for getting it published next Sprint.

Any updates on this issue? is the sprint plan for this not in this sprint? has the sprint pushed further for next year? Please confirm as it's been a month without any further reply or updates.

We need more clarification on the TFS architecture especially for TFS 2018.

We can't depend on docs page of TFS architecture anymore. Because the doc is still confusing about the Sharepoint integration and there's no clear distinctions or mentions about differences of Sharepoint integration in TFS 2015, 2017, and 2018.

Hi @eriawan , sorry you've had a lot of trouble with us here. @aaronhallberg , now that Azure DevOps Server 2019 is coming out, I think it may be useful to have both TFS 2018 and Azure DevOps Server 2019 Architecture Overviews. We may be reusing a lot of what's in the doc already, I'm not too sure.

OMG... now the link in this issue is gone!

Where can I find the updated link of https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/tfs/server/architecture/architecture?

This issue seems to be moved from MicrosoftDocs/vsts-docs. Please give us update, guys! It's been more than a year has passed since I originally submit this issue, and there's no further updates 😞
