@Naveenommi-MSFT The article says in the introduction that the instructions are for customers who already have the extension (because as you noted, the extension is no longer available through vsix installation). The docs will be removed in another month or so. The GH repo containing the source code is public if you want to build the extension yourself. Here's the link to the repo: https://github.com/microsoft/vscode-azurecognitivesearch.

Steps in this page cannot be done due to Cognitive Search extension is not available.
