Steps performed

I am following the steps in this article to run the spatial container. The host computer is an Azure Stack Edge Appliance. I have deployed the manifest from VS Code, using the Azure IOT Hub extensions (and not using RM + PS from a Windows Desktop)

Error faced

The Spatial container status shows up as 'error'. When I click on the 'error' hyperlink, the resulting page shows the error as 'Stream finished but there was a truncated final frame in the buffer'. The EdgeHub and EdgeAgent containers are running.

The IoT Edge runtime response status shows - 500-- An error occurred in the IoT Edge runtim image

@ssrikantan Do you mean you have skipped this section to enable MPS on Azure Stack Edge? Since the portal does not show more information, did you try to setup the diagnostic container? Due to the nature of the error it might be easier to add this to your setup to lookup this failure and report the same to service team through a support case if there is an issue with the setup.

@RohitMungi-MSFT , on the documentation to enable MPS when using Azure Stack Edge, I don't see any steps mentioned in it specific to setting MPS. It only covers establishing a remote PS session with the Stack Edge host.

I will enable the diagnostics container, like you suggest and confirm once done. thank you.

@ssrikantan I think you can go ahead and try setting up diagnostics for more help and it is required to work with the service team if you are unable to figure out the issue from existing logs. We primarily use docs repo and issues to document any bugs in the documentation. Due to the nature of the setup and issue it would be easier to work with the service team through a support case, in case you do not have a support subscription we could help in this case by enabling a one-time case for your subscription. Meanwhile, I will go ahead and close this issue. Thanks!!
