Can we add exact release date of AMA into the doc? #105814

Hi,

Can we add exact release date of AMA? what we can see here in the doc, is only "month-year", which is hard to determine when the automatic update should happen (it says up-to 5 weeks).

Unfortunately it's not technically possible to predict the exact release date, and it largely varies from one region to the next. The process isn't controlled by us (or any humans by that matter), it is via Azure's VM extension rollout engine. Some regions may get it within a week, others may take 5-6 weeks.

As such, we use the month-year format to give you an estimate of the time period the release maps to (which is different from when you will see it rolled out on your machine)

All that said, what is the problem you are trying to address? Is it to have better predictability on when auto-updates would happen? What would you do with the date, if it was hypothetically available? :)
