SubscriberID for SAP CDC should be 32 chars or smaller.

Regarding the Subscriber and your recommendation <your data factory -name>_<your linked service name>. Make sure to only use upper case letters.

Also make sure its only 32 Characters - if the change is beyond 32 characters its lost - as it gets truncated by SAP. If you have a long datafactory name or a long linked service name, then thats especially imporant.

Checking this in SAP

it indicates subscriber Id is 32 "characters" only.

So your change need to be reflected in the first 32 characters!
