@sergiojuchem Thanks for your feedback! We will investigate and update as appropriate.
@sergiojuchem - Thank you. I'll make some updates to try and make this clearer.
I am updating it to this:
Scanning for on-premises SharePoint sites and libraries is provided through the Azure Information Protection scanner. The scanner is available for use through a customer's Microsoft 365 subscription with the following SKUs: AIP P1, EMS E3, and Microsoft 365 E3. If you have any one of these SKUs, you should have the right entitlements to start using the Azure Information Protection scanner. Currently, Microsoft Purview (formerly Azure Purview) doesn't support scanning SharePoint and OneDrive into the Microsoft Purview Data Catalog.
Is that clearer?
Hi, for sure its more clear now, but may be, if you think that make sense, you can refer the URL from docs where admin can consult data types for sharepoint and one drive to help to know the diference= https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/compliance/data-classification-overview?view=o365-worldwide#top-sensitivity-labels-applied-to-content
Many thanks.

@sergiojuchem - Yeah, that's a great idea! I can do that.
I've made the request and you should see those changes by Monday at the latest.
Thanks so much for taking the time!
This answer its ambiguous, it not clear that is talking about the scanner (Microsoft Purview (formerly Azure Purview) doesn't support scanning SharePoint and OneDrive) and let admins think that purview does not support, but it support, but the article its talking about scanner.
