Code sample could be more accurate.

• Requires should list Az module
• Get-AzAccesstoken is probably far more friendly to use than

  $azProfile = [Microsoft.Azure.Commands.Common.Authentication.Abstractions.AzureRmProfileProvider]::Instance.Profile
  $profileClient = New-Object -TypeName Microsoft.Azure.Commands.ResourceManager.Common.RMProfileClient -ArgumentList ($azProfile)
  $token = $profileClient.AcquireAccessToken($tenantId)

• It looks like an " is missing after

  "{
  `"properties`": {
  `"displayName`": `"$labName`",
  `"budgetPerStudent`": {
    `"currency`": `"USD`",
    `"value`": <Budget>
  },
  `"description`": `"<Description>`",
  `"expirationDate`": `"$labExpiresOn`"
  }
  }

  which makes the code harder to read as the colors don't match anymore.
