@jbald-insight did you install the Marketplace extension?
I don't know what the docs said a year ago but they now say:
If you're using an Azure Resource Manager service connection, you can use the "Machine Learning" extension. You can search this extension in the Azure DevOps extensions Marketplace or go directly to the extension. Install the "Machine Learning" extension.
There is an error received regarding teh AzureMLJobWaitTask@0 Job wait task in the example that indicates this is not valid:
[Start Error Message:] A task is missing. The pipeline references a task called 'AzureMLJobWaitTask' with version '0'. This indicates that the specific task version can not be found. (job 'WaitForAzureMLJobCompletion', step ''.) [End error message]
