Planner is supported by a group of services. These service dependencies can be identified using the information in the following article https://learn.microsoft.com/azure/active-directory/conditional-access/troubleshoot-conditional-access#service-dependencies
If you take a look at your sign-in logs you will notice that those dependencies appear in the list of services included.
