Changes to the Azure reservation exchange policy for Azure Synapse Analytics SQL Pool Dedicated #121288

Hello, please, can you confirm, if the "new" exchange policy is applicable to "Azure Synapse Analytics - SQL Pool Dedicated"? Or is it only for VMs. Thank you, Erik

@eerik47 The updated exchange policy doesn't apply to Azure Synapse Analytics - SQL Pool Dedicated. The updated exchange policy only applies to the "compute" reservations listed in the note at the top of the article.

The section in the article at https://learn.microsoft.com/azure/cost-management-billing/reservations/synapse-analytics-pre-purchase-plan#cancellations-and-exchanges for Azure Synapse Analytics covers SQL Pool Dedicated where it explains that cancel and exchange isn't supported for Synapse Pre-Purchase Plans. All purchases are final.
