The "Oracle RAC in the cloud" section talks only about alternatives to Oracle RAC. However, many customers need to use Oracle RAC on Azure because of its active-active HA architecture and database uptime advantages.
There is a solution available from FlashGrid that enables Oracle RAC on Azure and that is used by multiple Azure customers since 2017. The FlashGrid solution is available through Azure Marketplace. It makes sense to mention it as a possible option, even if Azure cannot commit to supporting it.
