Please provide a sample to query cosmosdb using managed identity #121683

The samples on the page use account key to connect to the cosmosdb. Please provide a sample how to use managed identity, as this is the go-to technology.

You cannot use managed identity to access cosmos db container from serverless sql pool side.

Oh, that's a pity. Could you place some note about it? Also, is there some eta when it will be possible?

@miqm By the way, the engineering team is working on enabling access to Cosmos DB using Entra identity, however I can't say when that might get completed. If/when that work is done, we'll update the article.
