ANF Mount Configuration for SAPHANA

It has been observed that the ANF fileshare mount configuration in RHEL is different than the one in SLES for SAPHANA.

• In RHEL, we are using "mount" command and not explicitly asking to be mounted under /etc/fstab file

• Where as in SLES SAPHANA ANF[High availability of SAP HANA scale-up with Azure NetApp Files on SUSE Enterprise Linux] (https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/sap/workloads/sap-hana-high-availability-netapp-files-suse?tabs=lb-portalsetup), the HANA ANF fileshares are mounted using /etc/fstab which is permanent.

1. Is this the standard approach for mounting ANF shares differently if using RHEL or SLES?
2. In RHEL, if the "mount" command is utilized, do the ANF fileshares fall under the responsibility of the pacemaker cluster itself? In the SLES setup, ANF fileshares are already listed in fstab, thus managed by the VM rather than pacemaker.

• It would be beneficial to offer an explanation for the inconsistency or to update the article with the correct configuration if necessary.
