Running into the same issue now. Without compatibility with other versions of PowerCLI, the deployment planner is effectively bricked and there's no way to assess VMware to Azure DR.
Through sheer luck, after running into this exact problem myself just today, I happened to stumble into the installer for the exact 6.0 version needed on an old file share our company has. The file has been there for over 9 years! If anyone should need the 6.0 installer, I could upload it somewhere if you have a specific location.
That would be amazing if you are willing to share it! Someone may have a better or more permanent way to share, maybe even attaching to a comment in this thread if that is possible, but otherwise, I created a shared folder in Google Drive here: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1RpWNkQxiHifCriU4sXhyOtwskXCIdjhb
It's been uploaded!
Came across #123291 and there's a download link for a new version of the planner that shouldn't have this dependency anymore.

Since Broadcom revamped VMware's support site, PowerCLI 6.0 R3 is no longer available for download. Does the Site Recovery Deployment Planner for VMware to Azure support any other versions of PowerCLI, or is there any plan to add compatibility with current versions of PowerCLI?
