Missing troubleshooting Guidance for Azure Monitor Agent Inventory and Change Tracking #124218

Currently im trying to deploy the Change Tracking and Inventory Extension using the approach mentioned in the Documentation Enable Change Tracking and Inventory.

This is working for some virtual machines but not all expecially SQL Virtual Machines are sending data to the log analytics workspace.

Observable Error messages:

Expeciall for SQL Virtual machines: Symptoms:

C:\WindowsAzure\Logs\Plugins\Microsoft.Azure.ChangeTrackingAndInventory.ChangeTracking-Windows\2.24.0.0

time="2024-08-22T14:38:03+02:00" level=error msg="Failed to find an output stream for CONFIG_CHANGE_BLOB"
time="2024-08-22T14:38:03+02:00" level=error msg="Error sending kusto telemetry data through output handler."
time="2024-08-22T14:38:03+02:00" level=error msg="ama  returned failure response"
time="2024-08-22T14:38:03+02:00" level=error msg="Error while converting to extensionsettings ama returned failure response"

While the old Log analytics agent had a separat section for troubleshooting the new implementation for Azure Monitor agent change Tracking Extension doesn't.

For other virtual machines: Symptoms:

When i remove the extension afterwards enable it manually it works. Also if im removing the extension and afterwards enabling using the policy again it still works so it seems like the monitor agent itself have some kind of update issue in combination with the change tracking extension. Please add some guidance to the documentation on how to troubleshoot those issues. This may also be kind of a bug but im not sure about that.
