In the following piece:

If you already have a Microsoft account, review the Guidelines for creating a Microsoft ID to manage a marketplace account to determine if it can be used for marketplace publishing.

The link to the Guidelines for creating a Microsoft ID to manage a marketplace account doesn't work, it returns a 403. The link is: https://review.docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/marketplace/guidelines#guidelines-for-creating-a-microsoft-id-to-manage-a-marketplace-account

@jforest can you please retry? the link works for me - shown below. can you please send me a screenshot of what you see? image

femsulu commented 6 years ago

@jforest were you prompted to sign in when you clicked the link? I was able to repro the access denied "403 forbidden" error by attempting to log into the page using my personal outlook account.

@ellacroi the page url referenced above appears to be gated by a log-in prompt and a few customers are seeing the 403 access denied error. Is this expected?

Hi @femsulu sorry for the delay! I get prompted to login when I click on that link, if I'm not already logged in:

Interestingly... it's prompting me to choose one of 2 accounts??

choosing the personal account leads me to this:

I gotta say, needing to log in to see how I should be creating an account seems awkward to me..
