Point in Time Restore #17014

Closed dcbrown16 closed 5 years ago

Per the FAQ page https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/sql-database/sql-database-service-tier-hyperscale-faq#does-sql-database-hyperscale-support-point-in-time-restore : "Does SQL Database Hyperscale support Point in Time Restore Yes"

Does that info not conflict with the mention of PITR in "Known limitations" on this page? Or is this a difference regarding migrated DBs vs DBs created as hyperscale (in which case, the FAQ should note that limitation)?

PITR is supported in Hyperscale. However, if customer migrate an existing database to Hyperscale, they can’t restore the database to point in time before the migration.

Updated doc – thank you.
