Replication btw geopolitical regions #32688

As described, standard we can replicate only in geopolitical region. Is there any option to replicate e.g. from Europe to US from DR reasons ?

@jjindrich Thanks for the comment.

AFAIK, replication between Europe and US (for DR reasons) is not supported since these are not regional pairs. This is to ensure Data Sovereignty and meet Data residency requirements for tax and law enforcement jurisdiction purposes.

Thanks. Is there any workaround how to replicate with ASR ?

Unfortunately, not aware of any supported workaround but adding @rayne-wiselman to confirm. You are welcome to share feedback directly with the ASR team for consideration if this is a scenario you would like to see supported in the product.

You can replicate between non supported regions via powershell. It's UI limitation not actually enforced on backend based on what I tried
